Turkey Day

Our Thanksgiving festivities started on Wednesday Night when Bella and her family came in to town.
We all met over at Maria's house and had fun catching up and watching the kiddos play.
Here is Santi drinking out of one of the cups "his Tita" keeps at her house for him.

Prima Bella had learned a new trick....(Yea Prima!)

...Santi did not want to be shown up by a girl...

...so he dunked it in style too!

The next day we went to Visalia's Annual Race Against Hunger.
Santiago and I walked the two miles, with Tia Lucia as our walking buddy!
I am in the middle towards the back, Tia Lucia is pushing the stroller with Santiago.

The next day we arrived at Tita's house for some serious Turkey Eatin'.
Santiago watched for the guests to arrive...

...he was disappointed they were not all there yet.

The dinner was fabulous. Maria makes the best sausage stuffing in the world! It was complete with a beautiful ham and turkey, side dishes, and pumpkin pie. My sister-in-law (Michelle) and I made a few dishes too. Michelle's was a Yam dish, it was seriously the best I have tasted.
After that, Santi and Bella wasted no time and started playing right away.

They played with the toy horse...

...and then worked together to unload Tita's cupboards...

...every one of them...

Then it was time to go. (Did you see the Turkey on his butt? So stinkin cute. Nana sent it to him.)

After a long nap, Santi finished off the day with a pb&j and his first taste of eggnog.
As you can see he enjoyed it!
