Santiago found some "Bob the Builder" stickers left over from his birthday party, that his Tita had bought for him. We got out paper, stuck them on, and then he colored around the stickers. (Coloring is one of his new favorite activities. We have even kept it all on paper since the last incident.)
The next day we used the stickers for an impromptu lesson on body parts. It was very effective because the stickers were not too sticky so they did not hurt coming off and they were sturdy ones that did not fold up.
After I did it a few times he started doing it on his own. I could ask him where his foot was and he would put the sticker in the right place. It was a very fun and interactive lesson.
