New Spaces

           Oh my, we have been soo busy. My sister Paige (24 yrs) has decided to come and live with us for a year or so. Gerardo and I have been busy preparing for her arrival. This required switching out two rooms and while we were at it, we created a space for our little girl so we would not have to do it again in a few months.

So basically we turned Santiago's room into a play room (and we are keeping him in there in a crib.)

Next we have my sister in a room with the coming new baby. So we had to design a space big enough for both of them. Here is the picture of baby girl's side…

Everything turned out really well. We also created a office space in our kitchen in an armoire. We were planning on throwing it out but it turned out it is very functional as an office/storage/crafts closet, and it looks really nice too.

Then Gerardo did a whole lot of handy man work around the house. Hanging pictures, putting up  towel hooks instead of a bar in the bathroom, new decorative shelves in the kitchen, and locks on the closets little ones can get to, new toy shelve for Santi's room, and putting together a crib. Whew!

Santiago loves playing in his "new" room with all of his toys. It is so much fun to watch him figure things out in his own space.
